We will only use this information for marketing purposes at your request, for example, to suggest that your car may be due for its periodic service.
We use a third party service, mailchimp.com to enable us to easily create and send email newsletters. If you have agreed to receive newsletters now, or in the past, we may hold your name and email address on Mailchimp’s website. This could also include data such as your IP address, whether or not you have opened our emails, record of which links you have clicked on from our email, and details about which type of device or client you have accessed our email from (for example, Microsoft Outlook or iOS or Android, etc). If you have opted out of receiving email newsletters, we may still hold some of this information with Mailchimp in a suppression list to ensure we do not accidentally send to you in future. Some information, such as history relating to orders of any kind (excluding payment details), vehicle details, and contact details, could be held by us for a number of years, where this information provides a shared interest between us and you, or is required for accounting purposes.
